Capacity building of Pirot team for social inclusion policy at local level

In the framework of the project „Social Inclusion at the Local Level“, the first training with Social Inclusion Team of Pirot municipality was held at Stara planina. The aim of the training was to strengthen the capacities of Social Team members for the development and implementation of social inclusion policies in accordance with European principles.

Within the capacity building activities, during November, workshop was held with Pirot Social Inclusion Team with the aim to discuss two reports:

• The report on the process of creating local policies and integration of policies of social inclusion.

• The report on analyzes of the content of local strategies.

Both reports were based on research conducted in Pirot during September and October, with the aim to identify gaps in local policy-making processes and strategies from the perspective of social inclusion principles.
