SeConS is currently working on development of the National Report on Gender Equality Index for Serbia Women and Men, that will give more visibility to areas that need improvement and support policy makers to design more effective gender equality measures. Collection of all the necessary data and calculation of the Gender Equality Index will be done based on indicators agreed with the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) in cooperation with Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. National Report on Gender Equality Index will include calculation and analysis of index in six core domains: work, money, knowledge, time, power and health. The Republic of Serbia is first country outside the EU that has been developed Gender Equality Index in 2016, and second one in 2018. All project activities are supported by UN Women and will be implemented in close cooperation with Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia and Coordination Body for Gender Equality (CBGE).
